Every single time I was terrified of what was to come and didn’t understand how I would get through it, I did. Every single time I felt like my world was ending and that I couldn’t make something happen, I still did. Quick reminder, especially for you younger undergrads: Discipline is a skill, not a character trait. And just like any skill, it can be practiced and improved upon incrementally. Don’t spend the next week binging Netflix because you think it’s a hopeless endeavour. Just get up the next day and try again.
